Sharpe Line of Finex Guns Deliver Value and Performance

Minneapolis, MN – Sharpe, a leader in paint spraying equipment for the professional automotive refinish market, introduces the Finex line of spray guns that delivers value and performance.

The new and improved Finex FX1000, FX2000, and FX3000 Spray Guns offer unmatched spray pattern size and performance at an exceptional value. They deliver best-in-class atomization, a large spray pattern, are easily repairable and feature a lightweight and ergonomic design.

“The new Finex Spray Guns offer outstanding performance for painters from entry level to professional,” said Ron Graffis, Sharpe manager of sales and marketing. “These guns are designed to provide a high-quality finish, at a value price,” added Graffis.

Truly innovative, the Finex guns have 29 percent fewer parts than the previous Finex models; the new guns now have precision plastic lids, readily available repair kits, optional interchangeable aluminum cups and the lowest trigger pull among all guns in their class. They also feature optional 3M™ PPS™ Adapters.

The Finex FX1000 is a mini HVLP gun that provides full-size performance in a smaller-sized gun. You don’t need to sacrifice comfort when touch-up and precision jamb performance is required. The FX1000 offers a two-finger trigger for less fatigue while painting small areas, and boasts a large pattern size of up to 9 inches. Multiple nozzle options, ranging from 0.6 to 1.4 mm, provide versatility for spraying primer, base and clear. Includes a 125 cc cup, wrench and cleaning brush.

The Finex FX2000 is a conventional air spray gun that delivers an excellent automotive finish when HVLP is not required. The FX2000 offers a large pattern size of up to 12 inches. The conventional gun has multiple nozzle options, ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 mm, providing versatility for spraying primer, base and clear. Includes a 600 cc aluminum cup, wrench and cleaning brush.

The Finex FX3000 is a full-size HVLP gun for larger jobs, and it is the gun of choice when HVLP is required. The FX3000 offers a large pattern size of up to 12.5 inches. The HVLP gun has multiple nozzles ranging from 1.0 to 1.8 mm, providing versatility for spraying primer, base and clear. Includes a 600 cc aluminum cup, wrench and cleaning brush.

The Finex Spray Guns were developed jointly between Sharpe and its parent company Graco, a world leader in fluid handling systems and components.

Graco manufactures systems and products that move, measure, control, dispense, and apply a wide range of fluids and viscous materials used in vehicle lubrication, commercial and industrial settings.

Specific to automotive finishing, Graco has a long history designing and manufacturing finishing equipment that improves productivity, reduces paint usage costs, lowers emissions and provides consistently better finishes.

Manufacturers all over the world, like General Motors, Ford and Toyota, rely on Graco refinish products, as well as bus, trucking and airplane manufacturers.

Graco purchased Sharpe in 2003 to enter the North American automotive refinishing market, and brought its strong R&D, engineering and product development expertise to develop new spray guns to bolster Sharpe’s position in the marketplace.
